Turn On The Tap
In response to the global crisis of unclean drinking water Samaritan's Purse plans to build, install, and maintain 135,000 BioSand Water Filters by 2010. These filters are installed in communities, schools, and clinics worldwide bringing improved water to an estimated 560,000 individuals thus far. Recipients of the filters are trained in filter use and maintenance, as well as basic health and sanitation principles.
Canadians can bring clean water to an entire family for only $100.
