About Operation Christmas Child:

As a project of Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child has become the world’s largest children’s Christmas project and is now entering its 19th season. Over these years, we have learned that the joy of giving is a central part of the foundation upon which Operation Christmas Child is built. We want you to know how important your role has been in building this foundation, because without your efforts it would not be possible to make a lasting impact in the lives of so many needy children around the world each year.

This year, there are several fun and easy ways for you to get involved in promoting Operation Christmas Child and you will find all of the information you need to get started outlined in the resources available on the 'Print,' 'Radio,' & 'TV' pages (click above). We are also excited to announce a new and unique way to promote Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes in 2011 in support of the greater rebuilding process in which Samaritan’s Purse is involved in Haiti. Please encourage participants to pack an extra shoe box this year using the new online feature at samaritanspurse.ca/shoebox and that gift will be sent to a child in Haiti. Canada will be joined by several other countries that collect shoe boxes in order to bless the children of Haiti through this special outreach.
